Cambria Hotel O'Fallon - Ongoing

Reliant Security is providing commercial structured cabling and low-voltage installation support for the new Cambria Hotel in O’Fallon, MO. Working alongside the project’s lead contractor, our team is building the cabling infrastructure that will connect guest rooms, dining areas, entertainment spaces, and hotel operations across multiple floors.

This large hospitality project encompasses approximately 200 televisions, guest-room data, video, and VoIP telephone connections, distributed audio throughout the property, and security camera infrastructure, including elevator surveillance. The scope also serves two bars, a restaurant, pool area, golf simulators, a bowling alley, and the hotel’s lobby and common areas.

Reliant Security developed an organized structured cabling approach designed around both the hotel’s current technology needs and long-term serviceability. With several different systems running throughout the property, color-coded cabling is being used to make each system easy to identify, trace, and maintain.

Each cable color represents a specific system:

• Purple: Wireless access points
• Yellow: CCTV / security cameras
• Green: TV data connections
• Blue: Network data connections
• Black: TV coaxial cable
• White: VoIP telephone connections
• Gray: Audio systems

In addition to color coding, every cable is clearly labeled at both ends and coordinated with its corresponding patch panel or connection point. Cabling is routed through organized pathways and brought back to designated network rooms, helping create a clean and serviceable installation.

A fiber-optic backbone will also connect the hotel’s first- and third-floor network rooms, providing reliable connectivity between floors and supporting the property’s network and connected systems. This organized approach makes future troubleshooting, maintenance, and system upgrades much more efficient.
